Looking for a Kitchenaid?

I was watching television a couple of days ago and happened to see a commercial about Kitchenaid mixers. My mother-in-law has one and I fell in love with it the first time I used it (which was about 15 years ago).

Ever since that first experience, I have wanted one. And since I have started baking my own bread and such again, having one of these wonderful pieces of machinery would be time-saving.

Now, Kitchenaids are not cheap; they can range from $300 to $700. It just depends on the model and the attachments you want. Well, what caught my attention about this commercial was that I could get a Kitchenaid with either the ice cream or pasta maker attachment for $299!
